Step 1: Telephone Consultation

The telephone consultation is free and will take about 15 to 20 minutes during which I will ask you about what you feel you would like to discuss with me during therapy. I will be able to explain what CBT is and how it can help you in achieving your own personal goals. From here I will then be able to offer you an initial face-to-face(subject to government regulations) assessment  and or Virtual appointments available should this be your preference.

Step 2: Initial Assessment

The initial assessment is face to face  and will take approximatley 50 minutes. The calm and relaxing environment will provide the perfect opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings from which we will be able to make a plan of what we can work though. From here we can decide on the frequency of visits and book your future appointments.

Step 3: Regular Therapy

Regular therapy sessions usually take place weekly and last for 50 minutes. This is of course entirely depending on your requirements and availability, but bear in mind that for CBT to be effective, regular, timely sessions are the best solution.
